Havana hosts health care forum

Cuba is now hosting a major international conference, which is aimed at discussing measures to provide quality health care to poorer developing countries.



High on the agenda is how to get the major drug companies to invest in research into diseases found primarily in poorer regions of the world.



Chair of the Global Forum, Dr Gill Samuels said low income countries remain largely excluded from the progress seen in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
