A high court judge in Antigua is to continue hearing evidence in cases brought by the opposition Labour Party, challenging the results of this year’s general election.
The losing ALP candidates contend that the late opening of some polling stations and other irregularities prevented hundreds of voters from casting their ballots.
Cases have also been brought against Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer, Tourism Minister John Maginley and the Barbuda representative, Trevor Walker.
The governing United Progressive Party won 10 seats while the opposition Antigua Labour Party secured seven, in the March 12 general election.
