Chris Gayle returns home to be with Mother

West Indies Captain, Chris Gayle has left his team’s tour of Australia to return to Jamaica today to be with his mother, who is unwell.



Team Manager, Joel Garner said the 30-year-old, opening batsman\'s mother has been taken to hospital.



Gayle will miss the only warm-up game against Queensland, which began last night Jamaica time.



Vice-Captain, Denesh Ramdin will now lead the West Indies.



The first Test starts in Brisbane on Thursday, November 26.
