The Alliance of Small Island States is urging developed nations to continue building on actions already undertaken to reduce global warming.
Earlier this week, US president Barack Obama said that time has run out to secure a binding climate deal at Copenhagen.
Grenada\'s Environment Minister, Michael Church is insisting that the vulnerability of small islands must be protected.
Meanwhile, Barbados\' representative at the talks, Selwin Hart, said there are no legal or technical obstacles preventing delegates from reaching an agreement next month.
