Tivoli Gardens book place in final

Tivoli Gardens Wizards recorded a 79-73 victory over St Georges Slayers last night at the Stadium Courts to wrap up their best-of-three semi-finals of the Flow-sponsored Jamaica Basketball Association Southern Conference.



As a result of the victory, Tivoli Gardens Wizards won the best-of-three semi-finals 2-0 to book their place in the finals.



Anthony Farquharson led Tivoli Gardens Wizards with 27 points and 10 rebounds.



In the other semi-finals defending champions Urban Knights beat Majesty Gardens 57-56 in Game Two to push the series to the deciding Game Three.



Andy Smith 20 points and 13 rebounds and Javan Bailey 14 points and five rebounds led Urban Knight.



For Majesty Gardens, Kemar McLeish finished with 18 points and six rebounds and Baldon Todd had 14 points and six rebounds.



Meanwhile, Hoopers defeated Catherine Hall All Stars 67-60 at the Montego Bay Cricket Club Courts last night to win the best-of-three Western Conference finals 2-0.
