Premium Velocity is dead

The unbeaten three year old bay colt Premier Velocity died on Wednesday afternoon after snapping a foreleg at exercise last Sunday morning.
Unbeaten in three starts, the talented son of Alisios Diablo Forever was seen as one of the top contenders for the 2,000 Guineas to be run on Saturday, April 5.
Premier Velocity misfortune occurred during a seven-furlong exercise gallop with Carlton Malcolm aboard.
The Annual General Meeting of the Jamaica Racehorse Trainers’ Association takes place in the Trainers’ Room at Caymanas Park on Sunday.
