The Ministry of Finance in Grenada has waived a scheduled increase in petrol prices.
Rates are usually adjusted on the 18th of every month to reflect changes in the global market.
The ministry said it will retain the current prices until next month, as a sign of goodwill to motorists affected by damage to one of the island\'s main roads.
The decision follows calls for government assistance, by commuters who now pay higher fares to travel to and from the Capital, as a result of the road damage.
