Reggae Boyz drop five places on FIFA’s list
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have dropped five places on the latest FIFA rankings list, which was published today.
The Jamaicans, who retained their Number 69 spot last month, are now ranked at Number 74, while Trinidad and Tobago dropped nine places to 81.
Although Jamaica have dropped five places on FIFA rankings list, the country still hold on to its Number One spot in the Caribbean Football Union rankings over the Trinidadians.
Meanwhile, Spain have regained first place from Brazil in the world rankings.
The European champions regained the top spot they lost to the South Americans in July after friendly wins over fellow World Cup qualifier Argentina and Austria.
The Netherlands and Italy stayed third and fourth, while the biggest mover in the top 10 was Portugal, which rose five places to fifth by twice beating Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-0 to qualify for next year\'s World Cup.
