Parchment, Hinds score centuries in trial match

Tamar Lambert’s XI will resume today’s final day of the first Jamaica trial match at Sabina Park on 25 for 1 with Danza Hyatt, six, and Xavier Marshall, 5, the men set to continue on the flat Sabina Park pitch.



Yesterday, Brenton Parchment and Wavell Hinds completed centuries as David Bernard’s XI, replying to the 462 set by Lambert’s XI fell for 432.



Parchment made 127 while Hinds carried his bat for 105, joining Lambert (168) as centurions in the match.



Nikita Miller, who just missed selection to the West Indies team, which is currently on tour in Australia, was the top bowler with 6-97.
