ALBA plans to set up universities

The Venezuela-led Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) is planning to set up a network of universities for member countries.



The Cuban news agency, Presna Latina says experts from the grouping have already endorsed the constitution of the proposed network.



The project includes the creation of a common programme for the teaching of community integral medicine, education and energy.



Antigua, Dominica and St Vincent and the Grenadines are among members of ALBA.
