Australian calls for West Indies to be barred from Test

Australian media has continued to wage a psychological war with West Indies, after a Former National Captain called for the Caribbean side to be barred from playing Test matches.

Kim Hughes, whose Test career ended 25 years ago when he resigned from the post of Australia Captain following a crushing series defeat at the hands of West Indies, thinks the current side is a joke.

Hughes said countries like West Indies and Bangladesh should only be playing one day cricket until such they’re ready for test cricket.

West Indies lost the first Test to Australia by an innings and 65 runs inside three days at the Gabba.

They’re now preparing for the second Test of the three-match series, set to start on Friday, tomorrow night local time.
