Boys Town defeat Humble Lions

Boys Town recorded the only victory in yesterday’s round of matches in the Digicel National Premier League with a 2-1 triumph over Humble Lions at Collie Smith Drive.



As a result of the victory, Boys Town have moved to 26 points, but remain in fourth place in the table. Humble Lions are still second from the bottom.



Meanwhile, Tivoli Gardens remain top of the table following a 1-1 draw with eighth place Sporting Central Academy at the Edward Seaga Stadium.



Harbour View and St Georges remain joint second, still trailing Tivoli Gardens by a point.



Harbour View came from behind to draw 1-1 with last place August Town at Harbour View Stadium, while St Georges and fifth place Waterhouse played to a goalless draw at Waterhouse Stadium.



In other games, seventh place Arnett Gardens and ninth place Rivoli United battled to a goalless affair at the Anthony Spaulding Complex and the game between sixth place Portmore United and tenth place Village United ended 0-0 at the Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny.
