Lakers win ninth straight victory

Lakers won the match 108-88 Sunday.
Pau Gasol scored 14 points for the well rested Lakers, who improved to an NBA best 16-3 with their second home win in 24 days over road weary Phoenix.
Amare Stoudemire had 18 points and 8 rebounds for the Suns, who scored their fewest points of the season.
At Milwaukee, Delonte West scored 14 of his season high 21 points in a 29-0 first-half run, to lead Cleveland Cavalier to a 101-86 victory over Milwaukee Bucks.
In New York, Larry Hughes scored 16 of his 25 points in the third quarter as New York Knicks defeated New Jersey Nets 106-97.
Other winners last night were Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat.
