West Indies, Australia draw second Test

The second Test between West Indies and hosts Australia ended in a draw at the Adelaide Oval today.



Set 330 to win, Australia reached 212 for 5 when the game was called off with Michael Clarke 61 not out and Brad Haddin undefeated on 21.



Dwayne Bravo was the pick of the West Indies bowlers with 3 for 25, while Daren Sammy had 1 for 21 and Ravi Rampaul 1 for 22.



Earlier, West Indies captain Chris Gayle who resumed on 155 was left undefeated on 165 as the Caribbean side was dismissed for 317 after entering the final day on 284 for 8.



Mitchell Johnson was the most successful Australian bowler with 5 for 103, while Doug Bollinger chipped in with 3 for 50.



Australia, who have retained the Frank Worrell Trophy following the draw, will take an unbeatable 1-0 lead into the third and final Test starting on December 16 in Perth.
