Young WI beat Canada in Practice match

West Indies Under-19s beat Canada Under 19s by 71 runs today on the Duckworth/Lewis method in their rain-aborted ICC 2010 Youth World Cup practice match at Warner Park.
The Caribbean side electing to bat scored 231 for four with Kraigg Brathwaite slamming an undefeated 108. Andre Creary chipped in with 50 and John Campbell scored 26.
Hiral Patel was the most successful bowler for Canada with two for 24.
Needing 232 for victory, Canada were 74 for four off 24.4 overs when the game ended because of rain.
