The Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) has outlined plans to transform the country’s economy in what it has dubbed its economic revitalization plan.

The party’s plan will serve as the pillar of the DFP’s manifesto, which was launched yesterday, ahead of Friday’s general election.

The Freedom Party said its economic revitalization plan sets out the party’s priorities in each year.

The party intends to focus on Youth, Agriculture and Agro-processing during first year in office if it is victorious at the polls.

It said the administration will also move to create 1,600 new jobs.

The DFP is one of the three main parties contesting the polls and has announced candidates for 11 of the 21 constituencies.
