Cavalier, Greenwich face off in Confederation final
The final of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association’s Claro Jackie Bell Confederation Final takes place this afternoon with Cavalier and Greenwich Town facing off at 3:00 p.m.
The match will take place at Constant Spring Complex.
Cavalier, who currently lie second in the Claro Super League standings qualified for the final with victories over Central Kingston, UWI, Rae Town and Real Mona.
Greenwich Town, who are fourth in the Claro Major League, secured victories over three Super League teams on their way to the final. They overcame Swallowfield, the Jamaica Defence Force and Constant Spring before stopping Santos.
Following the Confederation Final, the competition will take a break and resume on January 19.
Six Premier League clubs from the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association will then join the competition. The clubs are Arnett Gardens, Boys’ Town, Waterhouse, Harbour View, Tivoli Gardens and August Town.
