Taylor remains in doubt for opening game

Fast bowler Jerome Taylor remains in doubt for Jamaica’s opening fixture against the Windward Islands in the 2010 West Indies Cricket Board Four-day Regional Championship, which is set to bowl off in Jamaica on January 8.
Taylor, who aggravated a back injury Down Under during the first Test of the just concluded three-match series between West Indies and Australia, is at home recovering.
Jamaica’s Coach, Junior Bennett said it is too early to know whether Taylor will be available.
However, he said the coaching staff is expecting a report from the doctor on Taylor’s condition this weekend.
