Gov’t responsible for joblessness, says PLP

The opposition Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) says the high rate of joblessness in the country is the result of the failed policies of the Hubert Ingraham Government.



The Party is accusing the government of focusing on political tribalism and partisanship instead of implementing policies that would address the employment needs of the country.



Department of Statistics figures show that between May and November the unemployment rate jumped slightly in both New Providence and Grand Bahamas.
