South Africa take control over England

South Africa Captain, Graeme Smith hammered an undefeated 162 to set up a series-leveling platform on today’s third day of the third Test against England at Newlands.
At stumps, the host closed on a hefty second innings total of 312 for 2, an overall lead of 330.
Smith and Hashim Amla put on a record second wicket stand of 230 out of the 312 for 2 to put England under pressure. Amla was eventually dismissed for 95.
Earlier, England who resumed this morning on 241 for 7 chasing South Africa’s first innings total of 291, were dismissed for 273.
Morne Morkel was the most successful bowler for South Africa with 5 for 75, while Dale Steyn supported with 4 for 74.
Scores in the game so far are South Africa 291 and 312 for 2, England 273.
