Sri Lanka beat India by five-wickets

Thilan Samaraweera struck an unbeaten 105 and Captain Kumar Sangakkara smashed 60 to lead Sri Lanka to a five-wicket win over India in the second match of the tri-nation limited overs tournament.



Sri Lanka reached their victory target with 12 balls to spare, finishing on 283 for five in reply to India’s 279 for nine.



Man-of-the-match Samaraweera smashed 11 boundaries in his 106-ball knock for his second one-day century and Thissara Perera hammered 36 off just 15 balls to take the match away from India.



Harbhajan Singh was the pick of India\'s bowlers with the spinner claiming three for 47.



The series continues on Thursday with Bangladesh playing India in Dhaka.
