Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by nine wickets

Openers Upul Tharanga and Mahela Jayawardene both smashed centuries to guide Sri Lanka to a nine-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the fourth one-day international of the tri-series at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium today.



Sri Lanka cruised to 252 for 1 off 42.5 overs to confirm their third win in the series after Bangladesh earlier posted 249 for 9 off their allotted 50 overs.



Opener Upul Tharanga was undefeated on 118, while Mahela Jayawardene scored 108.



Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan top scored for Bangladesh with 47 with Imrul Kayes getting 42 and Raqibul Hasan 43.



Nuwan Kulasekara, Suraj Randiv and Thissara Perera picked up two wickets apiece for Sri Lanka.



The series also involves India, who only won one match, beating Bangladesh yesterday.
