Update: Jamaica lead Windwards
Reigning champions Jamaica, replying to Windward Islands’ first innings total of 181, were 36 for two at stumps on today’s opening day of their first round match in the WICB Regional four-day competition at Chedwin Park in St Catherine.
The not out batsmen are captain Tamar Lambert on 16 and Donovan Pagon on nine.
Earlier, left-arm spinner Nikita Miller bagged excellent figures of seven for 28 to restrict the Windward Island batsmen.
Rawl Lewis top scored for Windward Islands with an undefeated 82.
Over at Kensington Park, Barbados replying to Leeward Islands’ first innings total of 236 were 74 without loss at stumps.
And over at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay, Combined Campuses and Colleges, sent in to bat, reached 189 for six at Sports Time in their match against Trinidad and Tobago.
