Reggae Boyz to start four-day camp today
The Jamaica Football Federation has invited a squad of 28 players to a four-day camp, starting today, to begin preparation for a friendly international against Canada at the National Stadium on January 31.
Among the 28-players are six schoolboys including forwards Allan Ottey from St James High, Christopher Waugh from Wolmer’s Boys and midfielders, Ricardo Morris from St James High and Manchester High’s Romena Bowie.
Jamaica’s Under-20 goalkeeper Andre Blake and Marvin Morgan who played an instrumental role in St George’s College retaining the Manning and Olivier Shield double were also included.
The squad also includes a number of overseas-based players. Among them are the United States-based duo of defender, Shavar Thomas and Omar Cummings as well as the Hungary-based, Jason Morrison and Rafe Wolfe.
Luton Shelton who plays for Valerenga in Norway and defender, Demar Stewart who plays for Chengdu Blades in China are also included in the squad.
