The state-owned Central Water and Sewerage Authority in St Vincent and the Grenadines has enforced water restrictions, due to a shortage of rainfall over the past two months.
Several communities in St Vincent and the Grenadines have been without running water for several days.
A spokesman for the water agency says the periodic interruptions in the water supply have now become necessary.
The agency is urging consumers to observe strict water conservation practices.
