Bryant stars in Lakers victory against Mavericks

Kobe Bryant nailed the game winning shot with 28 seconds left, lifting the Los Angeles Lakers to a 100-95 victory over the Dallas Mavericks last night in a clash of the top two teams in the NBA\'s Western Conference.



Bryant, suffering from a sore back, had only 10 points on 5 of 11 shooting, but Andrew Bynum had 22 points and 11 rebounds to help the Lakers end a three-game road losing streak.



Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points for the Mavericks to become the 34th player in NBA history with 20,000.



In Oakland, California, Dwyane Wade shook off an injured wrist to score 35 points on his best shooting night of the season as Miami Heats beat Golden State Warriors 115-102.



Other winners last night were Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Hornets, New York Knicks and Bolton Celtics.
