Under 19 World Cup begins

Pakistan, sent in to bat by the West Indies, were 24 without loss after five overs in their opening match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup at Fitzherbert Park in New Zealand.
The batsmen at the crease are Ahsan Ali on 14 and Babar Azam on eight.
West Indies, who are campaigning in Group D, will play their second match against Bangladesh on Sunday, before facing Papua New Guinea on Tuesday.
The top two teams will qualify for the second round.
Scores so far in other opening round matches at Sports Time were Afghanistan 20 for one after eight overs against India, Canada 27 without loss after five overs against Zimbabwe and Ireland six without loss after five overs against South Africa.
