Newlands beat Tarfari Lions

Newlands beat Tafari Lions 3-nil at Lacovia Community Centre to record the only victory yesterday in the South Central Super League.
Nickardo Williams, Lorenzo Dubidad and Tennyson McLeon scored for Newlands.
As a result of the victory, Newlands have moved to third place in the points’ table with 15 points, five behind leaders Meadows.
Tafari Lions are fifth on 12 points.
In the day’s other games, eight place Downs and bottom place Leeds battled to a goalles draw at Downs Community Centre; while second place Tru-Juice and seventh place Monymusk play to a one-all tie at Bybrook.
