Harbour View win second round final

Harbour View last night took the Digicel Premier League end-of-second-round title by defeating Waterhouse 1-nil in the final at the National Stadium.
Lovell Palmer led the ‘Stars of the East’ to the title with a 13th minute strike.
It was the second victory for Harbour View over Waterhouse since the start of the season. The first victory came in the boardroom after the teams battled to a one-all draw.
Waterhouse were penalized for using an ineligible player in their match on September 20 and Harbour View were handed a 3-nil victory.
Waterhouse then blanked Harbour View 2-nil in their second outing of the season.
As a result of last night’s victory, Harbour View received the winning prize of 250 thousand dollars, while Waterhouse collected 150 thousand dollars.
The third round of the competition will start on Sunday. Harbour View, on 42 points, lead second place Waterhouse by three points.
