Four feared dead in Bahamian plane crash

At least four people are feared dead, after their small plane crashed into the sea after taking off from the Bahamas on Sunday.



The plane, took off from New Providence Island en route to Executive Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.



Sergeant Chrislyn Skippings of the Royal Bahamas Police Force said searches have turned up no sign of the people aboard the aircraft.



The U.S. Coast Guard has offered to assist the Bahamian police in searching for the aircraft.



The authorities have not yet disclosed the names or nationalities of the persons on the plane.
