T&T propose anti-terror laws

The Trinidad and Tobago government is moving to strengthen its anti-terrorist legislation.



A bill to provide for lengthy prison terms for persons convicted of financing terrorist activities has been presented to parliament.



National Security Minister Martin Joseph says the government has also planned to establish a highly specialized investigative body with responsibility for investigating terrorism offences.
