Voters in the twin island Federation of St. Kitts are to go to the polls today to elect a new government.
Already both political parties are expressing confidence of victory.
The ruling St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party is promising to continue building on its achievements which include reducing poverty and providing more land to the landless.
At the same time the main opposition People’s Action Movement has urged electors to vote for freedom and a new beginning.
Elections Supervisor, Leroy Benjamin said all systems are in place for the polls and he expects a smooth and orderly process.
