India take charge in final test
Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid scored centuries to put India in command and take a 226-run first innings lead today on the second day of the second and final test against hosts Bangladesh.
At stumps India reached 459 for 5 in reply to the Bangladesh first-innings total of 233 with three days of play remaining.
Tendulkar scored 143, his 45th test century, while Dravid smashed 111.
It was Tendulkar\'s second test hundred in the current series. His 105 not out in the first innings of the first test in Chittagong helped India to a thumping victory and a 1-0 series lead.
Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was unbeaten on 22.
Gautam Gambhir 68 and Virender Sehwag 56 each notched half centuries before being dismissed in the first session after India resumed on the overnight score of 69 without loss.
