The Opposition leader in St Vincent and the Grenadines has given a negative rating to the country\'s economy.
In his contribution to the parliamentary debate on the national budget in Parliament, Arnhim Eustace said the multi-island nation had experienced two consecutive years of falling output.
He said the world economic recession alone cannot be blamed.
According to Eustace, local tax policies led to St Vincent recording the highest rate of inflation in the Eastern Caribbean sub-region.
