Organisers confirm Campbell-Brown for Games

Organisers of the Millrose Games have confirmed Jamaican sprinter Veronica Campbell-Brown for the 103rd staging of the popular indoor track and field meet Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Campbell-Brown, the reigning Olympic 200-metre champion, joins Barbadian World sprint hurdles champion Ryan Brathwaite among the top Caribbean athletes listed for the event.
Campbell-Brown will be aiming to recapture the 60-metre sprint title she landed in 2006 when she staged a sizzling come-from-behind win over American Lisa Barber, scoring in 7.10 seconds.
It will be Campbell-Brown’s first Millrose appearance since her triumph four years ago.
