West Indies to face Sri Lanka in third place play-off

West Indies opponents for Friday’s third place play-off in the International Cricket Council Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand will be Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankans lost their semi-final match by 2 wickets to Australia yesterday at Bert Sutcliffe Oval, and as a result will play for third place.
Sri Lanka batting after winning the toss were bowled out for 205 in 48.2 overs and Australia replied with 208 for 8 with 9 balls remaining.
West Indies had lost their semi-final match by 4 wickets to Pakistan on Monday also at Bert Sutcliffe Oval.
Australia and Pakistan will meet in the final on Saturday.
