Triple Olympic champion and world record holder Usain Bolt will open his 2010 season at the Camperdown Track and Field Classic to be held at the National Stadium on Saturday, February 13.
Bolt, the world record holder at 100 and 200 metres, will open his season by running the 400 metres.
Most of Bolt’s Racers Club teammates are also down for their season-opener.
The Camperdown Classic will have a new event as the organisers have added the Boys’ Class Three 1500 metres this year.
Meanwhile, Bolt has decided to make his first appearance on the new Diamond League circuit on June 12.
The meeting, the fifth on the new Diamond League circuit, will see Bolt competing in the 100 metres in New York.
Bolt set his first 100-world mark in New York in 2008.
