The cruise line which brought an American tourist to Antigua where she was murdered has cancelled its stops to the country.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 19-year-old Nina Elizabeth Nilssen, who was stabbed to death more than two weeks ago in a secluded beach on Antigua’s south-east coast.

However, despite the arrest Royal Clipper cruise line cancelled the destination.

It is the second cruise liner to cancel stops to Antigua in recent months.

Carnival Cruise lines suspended the destination to Antigua late last year after six of its American passengers were involved in a fracas with a local taxi driver.
