Crime Committee set up in Belize

The government in Belize has set up a Parliamentary Committee to tackle the country’s crime problem.



There have been a number of shootings in Belize City in the last few days which have left three people dead and several nursing gunshot wounds.



Reports indicate that Belizeans are growing increasingly worried and are calling for tougher measures taken against violent criminals.
