Former US president and special United Nations envoy Bill Clinton is due in Haiti to coordinate aid efforts and meet with leaders of the country devastated in an earthquake last month.
Clinton, who was asked by UN chief Ban Ki-moon to help lead international aid efforts to the Caribbean nation, says he will meet Haitian leaders and visit the Gheskio medical clinic in Port-au-Prince.
The January 12 earthquake devastated the desperately poor Caribbean nation, killing more than 200 thousand people and leaving another 300 thousand injured and a million homeless.
