Sanctions against Iran

The United States is pushing for sanctions against Iran after Tehran announced today that it is stepping up its uranium programme.
Iran’s nuclear chief, Ali Salehi, says Tehran had told the United Nation’s nuclear watchdog that it would start enriching uranium to 20 per cent beginning tomorrow.
The move heightens fears that Iran is moving closer to weapons-grade uranium.
The US has called for the international community to take new action and France has called Iran\'s latest move blackmail.
