Australia defeat West Indies

Pace bowler Doug Bollinger took four for 28 as hosts Australia defeated West Indies by eight wickets in the second One Day International at Adelaide today.



Australia now lead the five-match series two-love following an eight-wicket win in Adelaide.



West Indies were bowled out for 170 in 39.4 overs after slumping to 16 for four at the start of their innings.



Dwayne Smith topscored with 43.



Kieron Pollard with 32 off 39 and Denesh Ramdin with 30 off 42 got good starts but couldn\'t stay around long.



Ravi Rampaul smashed 18 off 22 deliveries.



Captain Chris Gayle was dismissed for a first ball duck after shuffling across the crease to a Bollinger delivery.



Set a paltry 171 for victory, Australia cantered to victory in the 27th over with captain Ricky Ponting 57 not out off 55 balls and his deputy Michael Clarke 27 not out off 28 leading the home side.



Opener Shane Watson gave Australia a good start with 53 off 50 balls.



Kemar Roach, one for 44 off six overs and Dwayne Smith, one for 28 off four overs took the wickets for the Windies.
