Cavalier, through two late goals, secured a controversial 2-1 victory over nine-man Rae Town yesterday to move five points clear in the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association/Claro Super League.
Cavalier have now moved to 43 points, five ahead of second place Rae Town on 38.
Rae Town went 1-0 up courtesy of a 57th minute strike from Damion Jackson.
However, Cavalier scored two late goals through Loxley Thompson, 87th minute penalty and Richard Hoo in the 93rd minute, to snatch victory.
