FA Cup Round Up

Holders Chelsea have been drawn against Manchester City or Stoke in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The winner of the replay between Crystal Place and Aston Villa, who drew 2-2 at Selhurst Park yesterday, will travel to Reading or West Brom.

Stiliyan Petrov’s late equalizer denied Crystal Palace a place in the quarter-finals and kept alive Aston Villa’s hopes of a second Wembley appearance of the season.

Crystal Palace were on the verge of an unlikely fifth-round victory when Petrov plunged to meet Stewart Downing’s corner with a diving header to hand Martin O’Neill’s side an 87th-minute equalizer.

Portsmouth’s reward for their victory against rivals Southampton is a home tie against Birmingham City.

Fulham, who beat Notts County 4-0, will host the winner of the replay between Bolton and Tottenham Hotspur.
