Munro, Papine continue winning ways

Defending boys’ champions Munro College defeated Kingston College 2-0 as the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 School competition continued yesterday at Mona Hockey turf.



Brandon Clarke and Leighton Thorpe scored for Munro College.



Following the victory, Munro College remain top of Zone ‘A’ with six points from two games, three ahead of second place Tivoli Gardens.



In the girls’ competition, champions Papine High with goals from Tashana Edwards and Therice Williams defeated Wolmer’s Girls 2-0.



Papine lead the standings with six points from two games, three ahead of Alpha Academy and Wolmer’s on three each.



The competition takes a break and resumes on Monday, February 22.
