Former national youth batsman John Ross Campbell arrived in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday to join Jamaica’s squad for their sixth-round West Indies Cricket Board Regional first class match this weekend against Barbados.

Campbell was named as a replacement for Shawn Findlay in the squad.

Jamaica, who lead the championship, will retain the title with a victory in the top-of-the-table clash starting tomorrow at the UWI Sports and Physical Education Centre.

With maximum 48 points from their four games, the Jamaicans lead second-placed Barbados by three points with two rounds remaining.

It will be the final game of the season for Barbados, who will take the championship lead with a victory.

In the other sixth round matches, hosts Trinidad and Tobago will tackle Windward Islands and Guyana, the only team without a victory so far, will face Leeward Islands.
