Meadowbrook, Tarrant fight for title

Unbeaten Tarrant High, set a victory target of 107, were 56 for 3 at Sports Time on today’s last day of the two-day ISSA/First Global Bank ‘A’ League cricket final against Meadowbrook at Melbourne Oval.



Earlier, Meadowbrook took first innings points after bowling out Tarrant High for 163 runs.



Tarrant had resumed on 54 for 4 chasing Meadowbrook’s first innings total of 198.



Odean McKenzie top scored for Tarrant in the first innings with 61 against the bowling of Jermaine Cole three for 50, Oshane Walker 3 for 75 and Raymond Thompson 2 for 26.



Batting a second time, Meadowbrook were skittled out for 72 after leading by 35 runs on first innings.



Bowling for Tarrant High, Odane McKenzie ended with 3 for 13, while Matthew Cranston, Omari Williams and Ramon Barrack supported with 2 wickets each.
