Tivoli defeat KC
Tivoli Gardens defeated Kingston College 2-1 to maintain their perfect record in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 boys’ competition yesterday at Mona Hockey turf.
With the victory, Tivoli Gardens have joined Munro College as Zone ‘A’ leaders. They are on six points each, four ahead of Excelsior High on two, while Kingston College remain on one.
Anthony Morris and Leon McLean scored for Tivoli Gardens, while Kevaun Reid was on target for Kingston College.
In the other Zone ‘A’ game, Campion College and Excelsior battled to a 1-1 draw.
The competition continues this afternoon with four games.
The first game starts at 1p.m. with Papine playing St Andrew Technical High School in a Zone ‘B’ boys’ game.
The other match-ups are in the girls’ competition. Those games are Alpha Academy against Campion College at 2.15 p.m., Immaculate facing leaders Papine at 3.15 p.m. and Wolmer’s playing Excelsior at 4.15 p.m.
