West Indies cricketers who were in Australia, arrived in Trinidad and Tobago last night from London for the series against Zimbabwe.

They joined up with David Bernard Junior, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Adrian Barath, Darren Bravo and left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn who were already in T&T.

West Indies were outclassed by the Australians in the One-Day and 20/20 Internationals and will be hoping to rebound.

The Caribbean cricketers will have little or no rest as they face Zimbabwe at the Queen’s Park Oval in the series opener on Sunday, a one-off 20/20 International.

The teams will also play two One-Day Internationals in Guyana next week, before contesting the three final matches in St Vincent.

The West Indies team will have the day off today before staging their solitary training session at the Queen’s Park Oval tomorrow when they meet with their new coach Ottis Gibson.
