KC secure first victory

Kingston College were awarded a 3-0 victory over Campion College as the Jamaica Hockey Federation/Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association Under 19 competition continued yesterday at the Mona Hockey turf.



Campion College failed to show for the Zone ‘A’ game.



With the victory, Kingston College have moved to four points but remain second-from-the bottom in the Zone.



In the other Zone ‘A’ match, Excelsior beat Tivoli Garden 1-0 to move to five points, one behind joint leaders defending champions Munro College and Tivoli Gardens.



In the girls’ competition, Excelsior and Alpha Academy played to a 1-1 draw.



Both schools improved to six points each, four behind leaders Papine.



The competition continues this afternoon with two Zone ‘B’ boys’ games. The match-ups are Papine against Wolmer’s at 3 p.m. and Mona High facing St Andrew Technical High School at 4:15.
